Redsalt Restaurant and Bar will be an integral part of Crowne Plaza Adelaide for both guests of the hotel and for South Australians looking for a new and exciting dining experience.
Crowne Plaza Adelaide, which is opening in April, will be one of the only newly built, internationally branded hotels to open in South Australia in more than 20 years, and the 16th Crowne Plaza in Australia.

Bradd has returned to his home city of Adelaide after several years in the UK and will head up the team at Redsalt Restaurant and Bar. While Bradd has catered for the Queen and Prince Charles, appeared in UK’s Master Chef and worked in some of London’s most prestigious eateries, he sees his new role at Redsalt Restaurant and Bar as one of his greatest challenges yet.

“I am hoping to break the mould when it comes to hotel restaurants and I am passionate about creating a completely different dining concept for Crowne Plaza Adelaide,” he said. “It will be all about individual serves, fresh food and creating our own food where we can, including jams, biscuits and preserves. Redsalt Restaurant and Bar is going to set the standard for hotels in Adelaide.”

The signature Redsalt Restaurant and Bar at Crowne Plaza Adelaide will be located on the ground floor of the hotel overlooking Hindmarsh Square. It will offer a new dining experience in an alfresco setting and will focus on South Australian food and wine.

It will feature modern Australian cuisine, but will also see Bradd’s European influence as he hopes to introduce some of the style and flair found in some of Europe’s best Michelin Star kitchens. “At the end of the day, whatever the dish, it will be fresh, lovely, modern and delicious at Redsalt Restaurant and Bar,” Bradd said.

The Redsalt Restaurant and Bar concept has been developed by the Crowne Plaza brand to showcase the freshest produce, presented in a simple and stylish manner. The food is modern Australian, with a hint of classical cuisine and an emphasis on flavours that are natural and uncomplicated. Everything at Redsalt Restaurant and Bar has been designed to enhance the guest experience – from the range of condiments and food – to the fantastic wine selection.
