‘A Taste of Ireland’ brings spectacular Irish dance to South Australia

‘A Taste of Ireland’ is headed to South Australian stages with an acclaimed cast of champion Irish dancers from across the globe.

Australia’s most successful Irish dance show, “A Taste of Ireland,” is gearing up to head back to South Australia once again.

With a revamped staging of their immensely successful production, the show promises to mesmerise spectators with its blend of cultural tradition and contemporary flair.

Scheduled for Her Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday March 23rd, and then the Barossa Arts Centre in Tanunda on Saturday March 24th, this theatrical spectacle is set to captivate audiences with its vibrant energy and stunning performances.

Seen by over 150,000 people worldwide, “A Taste of Ireland” has garnered acclaim across the globe, with sell-out seasons in the UK, USA, Australia, and New Zealand. The show features a cast of multiple world champion dancers, including former stars of renowned productions like Lord of the Dance and Riverdance.

“As a producer and director, I am absolutely thrilled to announce the final Australian tour of ‘A Taste of Ireland’,” Co-Producer and Director, Brent Pace said.

Pace emphasised the meticulous effort invested in crafting each performance, aiming to immerse the audience in the rich history and essence of Ireland through dynamic storytelling, music, and captivating dance sequences.

“The show offers audiences an intimate live experience, where each storyline is intricately woven with dynamic lighting and stunning visual backdrops. The cast and I have worked incredibly hard to ensure that each performance and dance sequence is carefully choreographed to convey the profound essence of these moments in Ireland’s history, ensuring that you not only observe them but also experience it through the movement, music, and captivating live dance,” Pace said.

“We’re thrilled to share this unforgettable experience with our Australian audience this year and eagerly anticipate our journey to this remarkable tour, a culmination of years of dedication and passion.”

The show, which has performed over 300 shows since 2019, promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, blending iconic musical classics such as ‘Danny Boy’ and ‘Tell Me Ma’ with live acapella tap battles and world-class dancing.

Audience members are invited to join the acclaimed cast of champion Irish dancers from around the world, as they transport spectators through the captivating tale of Ireland’s tumultuous history.

Australian Irish dancing duo Ceili Moore and Brent Pace have made a name for themselves on the world stage of Irish dancing over the last few decades, winning world championships and dancing alongside the likes of greats such as Michael Flatley. With both of them coming from Irish dancing families in Australia, their union has seen the creation of live entertainment company Pace Live, a uniquely Australian – theatrical production company which brings the magic and celebration of Irish dance and culture all over the country and the world.
