It’s the perfect time to celebrate the Hills, with the region having just been named in Traveller Magazines’ Top 10 places to eat around the world in 2024.

Whether you’re a wine connoisseur, a food lover, or just looking for a fun weekend, this festival has something for everyone.

Event Founder Holly Stratton is thrilled to bring this event to life.

“We’re so excited to showcase all the incredible businesses that are participating,” she told Glam Adelaide last year.

“The Academy of Dressage is going to be home to this event, we’ll have something for everyone here, whether it be a soft drink, wine, gin or vodka it’ll be there, get ready to indulge in delicious treats like pizza or ice cream while you wander around the property and pet the horses,”

Imagine the Cellar Door Fest, but set in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, showcasing the best local businesses.

Attendees can look forward to an array of activities and tastings.

From the award-winning Prancing Pony Brewery’s hand-crafted beers to Barristers Block’s premium wines and Besa juice’s delicious cold-pressed juices, theres’s something for everyone.

But it’s not just about the drinks. The festival also features activities like Yoga n’ Sip, Flower Crown n’ Sip, Paint a Horse n’ Sip, and masterclasses in wine and cheese, and wine and chocolate pairings. The unique Paint a Horse n’ Sip activity promises to be a hit, allowing you to sip on a glass of wine and pet the horses as you unleash your creativity.

The Taste of The Hills Festival is a celebration of the Adelaide Hills community, its businesses, and the unique experiences they offer.

From Square1 Gin to Red Cacao Chocolates, Nepenthe Wines to The Queens Cut, Barrigan Wines, Paracombe Wines, BBQ At Yours, Adelaide Hills Harvest, and Five Eleven Distilling, the festival showcases a range of local brands.

The music lineup is equally exciting, featuring artists like Tim Bos, Ella & Sienna, Ollie English, DJ Tallie, Dylan Smith Acoustic, and Michael Spyker. Combined with the natural beauty of the Adelaide Hills, the festival will be filled with flavours, music, and memorable experiences.

Worried about getting there? They’ve thought of that. The Taste of the Hills Festival will operate a shuttle bus service to do the driving for you. Operating from Adelaide City and the Adelaide Hills, the buses offer convenient pick-up and drop-off points, running at set times to ensure you get to the festival and back without any hassle.
