A Wine Sale 10 Years in the Making

As part of its 10 year anniversary celebration, the National Wine Centre of Australia will hold its biggest wine sale to date on Friday 4th and Saturday 5thNovember between the hours of 10am and 4pm on site at the venue.

Introduced as an annual event two years ago, the National Wine Centre’s wine sales are a sensational opportunity for the public to purchase wines from the lower to top end of the price range for a bargain – just in time for Christmas!!

This year, to celebrate its anniversary, the National Wine Centre team has delved deep into the cellar and will release wines for sale that have been held in optimal conditions since the iconic building opened in 2001.

Thousands of bottles of wine including red, white, sparkling and fortified will be available for purchase in varying quantities. There will be the opportunity to purchase the most iconic of Australian wines including Penfolds Grange – with vintages dating back to the year the centre opened – 2001 on offer.  Peruse through our magnums dating back to 1999 including Charles Melton Nine Popes, Penfolds Bin 28 and Penfolds RWT.

The National Wine Centre cellars have a capacity to store 32,000 bottles of wine at any one time from countless wineries across the country.  Tasting opportunities are available 10am until 5pm daily from the tasting area adjacent the Concourse Cafe. The National Wine Centre have also recently introduced a series of 5 wine tasting experiences that may be held in conjunction with a function – offering tasting opportunities for 10 – 500 people.
