One of America’s most popular burger chains is launching in Australia for the first time, right here in South Australia and they’re coming in red hot. Carl’s Jr. is set to open their first restaurant in Mount Barker this Saturday, 22 July. And for the quickest, fiercest, (first) 50 burger feinds, they’re promising A WHOLE YEAR WORTH OF BURGERS.
For nothing but to see your beautiful, hungry face bright and early when they open on Saturday.
To recap (because this is insane): if you think you could eat free burgers for an entire year/you like winning things/you have some magical metabolism/you live in Mt Barker AND you want a shot at this epic prize, you’ll just need to be one of the first fifty people through the door on opening day (Saturday 22 July, 8:30am).
Think they’re crazy? Pfft…
“People lined up 24-hours before the first Carl’s Jr. opened in Bateau Bay last year and we’re excited to keep that momentum going with the opening of two new restaurants in South Australia this year,” stated Frank Agostino, Managing Director of Agostino Group. “The Carl’s Jr. brand is still relatively new in Australia and we look forward to offering South Australians a taste of their authentic, premium burgers, and world class service.”
They’ve got a fresh-to-order menu and partial table service. The menu includes the brand’s signature line of 100% Angus Beef thick burgers served on fresh baked brioche-style buns, hand-breaded chicken tenders, and hand-Scooped ice cream shakes.
The Mt. Barker restaurant will also offer a breakfast menu including a range of Big Brekkie Sandwiches, served on a fresh baked bun and The Breakfast Burger, served all day long (hallelujah).
The Mt. Barker location will be the first restaurant to open in Australia following this approach and a large US contingent will be visiting Adelaide to attend the launch and experience all that South Australia has to offer.
So, there ya have it folks. We’ll be the first in the country to experience Carl’s Jr. and 50 die-hards will get a year’s worth of Carl’s Jr. burgers.
