The LifeStyle FOOD Channel Australian Regional Culinary Competition was held on Saturday 1 May at the TAFE SA Regency Campus where teams of chefs from across Australia battled it out in a competition to see which region could dish up the best food and wine.
Each team created three-course meals, which were judged by renowned chefs and food critics including Ben O’Donoghue , Kate Lamont, Pete Evans, Frank Camorra and John Lethlean. The teams were critiqued on their culinary expertise, technical ability, imaginative use of produce, presentation and wine matching.
