Adelaide 36ers to Take the Hawks by the Throat

The Adelaide 36ers will be looking to take back their season in their clash against the Wollongong Hawks tonight at the Adelaide Arena.

After losing captain Adam Ballinger and vice-captain Nathan Crosswell for the season, the team is looking to prove their worth in the showdown against the Hawks.

The Adelaide 36ers have a height advantage against the smaller Hawks and will be looking to dominate on the offensive and defensive boards.

Head Coach Marty Clarke says that the boys have a big point to prove to the supporters and themselves.

“The team is a talented team and with the captain and vice-captain out, the team has to step up collectively and individually to try and fill the space left by them.”

Leeanne Grantham, CEO, is encouraging all Adelaide 36er supporters to come out to the game tonight and cheer on the team.

“It has been a low week for the club, but we know that our supporters will come out to the game on Friday night and get right behind the team.”

Latest update on Adam Ballinger and Nathan Crosswell is that both their surgeries went well and they are both at home recovering and starting their rehabilitation.

The game tonight at the Adelaide Arena has a 7.30pm tip off.

Internationally renowned DJ Babey Drew who is the official DJ for Chris Brown will entertain the crowd at half time pumping out a couple of tunes promoting his Australian tour.

The team will be having a signing session after the game tonight and fans are encouraged to get their memorabilia signed by the team.

Tickets are available for tonight’s clash through www.proticket.com.au and start from $20 for adults and from $5 for children, making attending the game an affordable night out.
