Adelaide actress Sarah Snook nominated for Golden Globe

The Scotch College graduate has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series for her hit series Succession.

Adelaide’s very own Sarah Snook has been nominated for a Golden Globe. 

The Scotch College graduate has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series,  Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her hit series Succession. 

Humble beginnings, Sarah began her career with the State Theatre Company of South Australia. 

Now she is nominated alongside other Australian stars including Hollywood heavyweight Nicole Kidman who scored a nod for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama for her new film Being the Ricardos and  Up-and-coming Australian star Kodi Smit-McPhee, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his work in the western film The Power of the Dog. 

The awards will take place on January 10th 2022 in a scaled-back ceremony. 

It is unclear if the Aussie nominees will attend the 2022 ceremony, which is one of the biggest Hollywood awards shows in the run-up to the Oscars.
