Ok, so Adelaide just happens to be even more cool than you thought it was… Introducing the Central Market Kitchen, “Butcher’s Block” coming to the Adelaide Central Market every Friday night!
The little nook kitchen located on top of the Central Markets, is a hub for all things amazing food and produce! Believing in the amazing range and quality of food that South Australia has to offer, they want to teach you and cook with you.
Their goal, “To identify and celebrate the supply chain, connecting our community to taste, cook and appreciate food in an environmentally sustainable way.”
Their mission, “To think and act collaboratively in a creative and convergent conversation with our community.”
Pretty cool, huh?
Well take that cool and take it to the next level with their ‘Butcher’s Block” event which is basically a delicious culmination of the best craft beers around matched to some top notch butcher menus (the butchers being located in the Adelaide Central Market, of course).
All happening this Friday July 17 from 5pm, the special launch night experience will include a live broadcast of the Brisbane vs. Liverpool match, a jam packed with amazing international and local craft beers bar, including the new to the scene local brewer, Pirate Life. The world class beer will be required to wash down the delicious meat feast that you will be enjoying!
The night will see O’Connell & Son’s Butchers, The Olive Tree and Claymore Wines join together to kick off the event, and you can enjoy a front row seat as the butchers prepare and BBQ their best cuts of meat all on the Market Kitchen balcony.
A ticket to this cracker will get you entry, your first beer or wine on the house and some delicious BBQ’d meat served on, you guessed it, the butcher’s block, throughout the evening.
Claymore Wines will also be doing wine tastings kicking off at 5pm.
Bookings are absolutely essential and get in quick because we have a feeling tickets for this bad boy will not take long to go!
