Adelaide band Germein to share the stage with Shania Twain in London

On July 7th, Adelaide sister trio Germein will share the spotlight with an awesome line-up at Shania Twain’s BST headline show. You go grrls!

Adelaide sister trio Germein are set to bring their feel-good turns to London, performing as part of Shania Twain’s headline show at the BST Hyde Park Festival on July 7th.

The complete lineup for the event features The Corrs, Anne-Marie, Elle King, Natalie Imbruglia, Nell Mescal, Hannah Grae, Cate, Dea Matrona, and Natalie Shay.

BST is famous for partnering legendary headliners with up-and-coming musicians, sharing the spotlight and the love of the massive crowds that gather for each unique performance.

This year’s headlining legend, Shania Twain, is among the best-selling artists ever. After selling over 100 million records, she’s also the best-selling female artist in country music history. Her appearance at BST forms part of her upcoming UK and Ireland tour, including outdoor concerts in Belfast, Dublin, Lancashire, and Stirling.

So, how does Germain feel about the company they’re keeping?

“Eeeeeeek!!! Pinch us, please!!! We’re so excited to join this incredible lineup at BST Hyde Park London this summer!!! Shania Twain, The Corrs, Anne-Marie, Elle King, Natalie Imbruglia—all our faves. We’re beyond grateful and excited!!”

Germein (formerly known as the Germein Sisters) is best known for the songs “Good For A Girl,” “My Island Home,” “City Lights,” “Little Part of Me,” and “Bruises.”

This isn’t their first foray across the oceans. In 2018, they toured the UK with a 15-date stadium tour, opening for Little Mix on their Summer Hits Tour, performing to crowds of up to 35,000. That same year, they released the single “Knocking At My Door,” following the national success of “Talking” in Australia. Most recently, they took the stage at the Forest Live concert on June 29 in Forestry, England.

Renowned for their dynamic and engaging live shows, Germein has enchanted audiences, whether performing on their family farm in South Australia, opening for Little Mix, or playing the Main Stage at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Their consecutive “People’s Choice Pop Award” wins at the South Australian Music Awards in 2019 and 2020 validated their growing popularity.

This year’s BST Hyde Park festival lineup includes headliners such as Kings Of Leon (June 30), Morgan Wallen (July 4), Andrea Bocelli (July 5), Robbie Williams (July 6), Stevie Nicks (July 12), Kylie Minogue (July 13), and Stray Kids (July 14).

Last year’s BST Hyde Park festival featured headliners such as Guns N’ Roses, Lana Del Rey, Bruce Springsteen, P!nk, Billy Joel, BLACKPINK, and Take That.
