Adelaide Bar Lands Top Ten List Of Best Gin Bars In Australia

The finalists for the 18th Annual Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards are about to be announced this month, and in the lead up, the top ten gin bars in Australia have been revealed.

If you’ve ever been to Hains & Co, you’d know that these guys are the real deal.

Nautically inspired with a passion for gin and rum, a love of the sea, and a penchant for whiskey, the team are overwhelmingly dedicated to their craft and to ensuring their patrons enjoy the best, hand selected spirits that Adelaide has to offer.

Tucked away in Gilbert Place, the cosy little venue is well known within the industry, to locals, regulars and those who are just looking for somewhere to escape from reality for a drink or two.

It comes as no surprise that Hains & Co. have about 50 to 60 gins on offer, but regularly rotate, so you have an excuse to visit regularly and try something new every time! You’ve got to swing by at least once a month and sample their gin of the month, paired with various tonics and garnishes to enhance each gin’s individual flavour. If you’re visiting on a once off, however, their current most popular gin is local fave Never Never and you should definitely give that a go.

And, of course, no bar is complete without an offering of delicious cocktails. Hains & Co pride themselves on offering a variety of classic cocktails—after all, they’re classic for a reason!

It seems we’re not the only ones who love this little joint though, with it making waves amongst some of the heavy hitters here and interstate.
