When the sun is shining, there’s no better place to be than surrounded by the natural beauty of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens (preferably with a refreshing cocktail in hand) which is why The Gardens Café and Kiosk has brought back its ever-popular Summer Sessions Series.
Taking place every Saturday and Sunday of the summer months, you’re invited to the ultimate garden party held in the cultural heart of the Botanic Gardens, Schomburgk Pavilion.
Live, acoustic music will set the scene as you sip on amazing house cocktail specials and The Gardens’ special range of local beers and wine that includes Sparkke Pilsner and Howard Vineyard’s Blanc De Blancs Sparkling.

Each week, a different Adelaide musician will take to the stage with previous artists including the smooth sounds of Brianz Ruiz and the genre-defying George K who plays everything from soul and jazz to reggae and country.
Now in its second year, the 22/23 Summer Sessions Series has seen the introduction of a brand-new food menu that perfectly embodies the sunny season. Treat yourself to confit duck croquettes, chicken katsu sandwiches, and prawn brioche rolls served with lime and pepper crisps.
If sharing is more your vibe, The Gardens charcuterie board is loaded with a selection of meats, cheeses and sides that pair perfectly with a Summertime Spritz or Pink Gin Fizz.
While the Summer Sessions only occur when the weekend rolls around, the Gardens Café and Kiosk is open every day during the holiday period (apart from Christmas Day) serving up its famed Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and speciality Italian treats.

Protected from the sun by the giant oak tree, the café is a great place to re-fuel while exploring the Botanic Gardens which are buzzing with life at this time of year.
Summer Sessions take place every weekend until February from 1pm at the Schomburgk Pavilion within the Adelaide Botanic Garden.
