Today’s weather forecast in Adelaide

There will be a break in the showers for today, before the rain returns for the weekend.

Adelaide is in for a partly cloudy day today, with a high of 14 degrees and a low of 6 degrees. There’s an 80% chance of it staying dry, with a slight possibility of a shower in the early afternoon. Expect light winds becoming northwesterly at 15 to 20 km/h, then tending northerly later in the day.

Looking to some of Adelaide’s neighbouring towns, Stirling has the frostiest high today, with a top of 10 degrees, while Oak Valley in the North West Pastoral district is our warmest area, with a top of 21.

Mount Barker, Nuriootpa and Jamestown are all expecting tops of 12 degrees. Victor Harbor and Strathalbyn are looking at a high of 14 degrees, and Edithburgh hitting a top of 15 degrees.

BOM has issued a strong wind warning for the following areas: Lower West Coast, Central Coast, South Central Coast, Investigator Strait, Upper South East Coast and Lower South East Coast.

Taking a look over to our friends interstate, Melbourne is expecting a top of 12 degrees with a shower or two, Sydney will be mostly sunny and 19 degrees, Brisbane will also be mostly sunny with a top of 20 degrees, while Perth will be expecting showers and 17 degrees.

Looking ahead to the weekend, the rain isn’t letting up! Saturday and Sunday both will see highs of 15 and 16 respectively, and lows of 9 and 10, with showers persisting.
