Adelaide CBD’s newest acai spot Refillery will be open 24/7

There’s a brand new acai spot on the way, with impressive hours, and it’s coming to a totally convenient location.

With OTR Rundle Street closing several years ago, Adelaidians have been waiting patiently to find out what will end up in its prime location next. Well, we’ve just found out, and although Refillery is still getting prepared to move in, it’ll be bringing in the newest chapter for 179 Rundle street.

There are a handful of 24/7 eats in Adelaide, but it’s always an exciting time when a new one is announced. Finding an all-hours fresh and healthy food hub is still somewhat rare, and Refillery is shaking things up for Rundle, with acai bowls and nutritious snacks round the clock.

Here’s what we know:

Refillery will be fully decked-out 24/7 convenience store offering acai bowls and cups, along with healthy treats. A fully staffed counter is set to be freshly preparing delightful, healthy, and delicious acai at all hours of the day.

The new store will also dish out all the classics you’d expect from a convenience store. Think grab-and-go snacks, chilled drinks, and those last-minute essentials you always seem to run out of.

While we’re still waiting on updates as to when Refillery will officially open its doors, we’re welcoming a new acai place to Rundle Street with open arms. The business is currently hiring staff which means it won’t be long before you can get your hands on refreshing, antioxidant-packed acai bowls right in the heart of the East End.

Rundle Street has long been a hub for food, fashion, and nightlife, but a 24/7 health-focused convenience store is a fresh addition to the mix. Whether you’re craving an açai bowl after a gym session or need a quick bite after a night out, this spot is set to become a go-to for a healthy treat.

Acai spots have been popping up all over the state as of late, and the CBD is no stranger to the food. Just a couple of weeks ago, AH-SAI-YEE, one of Adelaide’s most popular acai bars, opened its doors in James Place. Last year also saw Acaico, known for its colourful interiors and extensive menu, pop up in Grange and Woodcroft.

It’s having a real moment, and whether it’s the health factor, or the delicious fresh flavours, after gaining massive popularity interstate, Adelaide is beginning to embrace the acai trend in a big way.

While a lot of details are still under wraps, we’re expecting a vibrant lineup of fresh fruit, granola, and all the good stuff that makes for the perfect acai bowl. Stay tuned for an official opening date!
