Adelaide Continues To Prove That It Is Australia’s Leading Live Music City

You might remember that last year Lonely Planet recognised our humble city as the Live Music City in Australia. We’ve proudly held our identity as the City of Festivals but this is another accolade that keeps on proving itself through our live music scene.

You might remember that last year Lonely Planet recognised our humble city as the Live Music City in Australia. We’ve proudly held our identity as the City of Festivals but this is another accolade that keeps on proving itself through our live music scene.

The Adelaide Guitar Festival can be thanked for helping us along the way with the Guitars in Bars initiative which is hoping to diversify our live music scene by inviting young local musicians to display their talents and one of our favourite bars has jumped on the campaign.

The Warradale is hosting two talented musicians, Tasha Zappala hailing from Tasmania and Kiera Nicole, a Mildura based artist. These ladies are sure to keep proving our live music credentials this July.

First on the stage is Tasha Zappala, who is a travelling Australian Singer/Songwriter who is known for her gypsy/folk style melodies.  This is event is free and no bookings are required! For more info read below.

Kiera Nicole is also known for her impressive skills on the guitar. Being born into a family with a large musical influence, Kiera’s music career essentially began when she was around the age of three.
