The Brownlows. You know, that big to do that the AFL puts on every year to award the player/s judged as “fairest and best” during the home and away season… But who are we kidding… we know that it is really all about the fashion. And representing Adelaide on the red carpet this year were Paolo Sebastian, Jaimie Sortino and Stephanie Chehade who wowed with their stunning pieces.
Nadia Bartel
Paul dressed the darling of Geelong and one of the Wags fighting for the ‘Queen’ status, Nadia Bartel. Married to all round good guy and well loved Geelong player, Jimmy Bartel, Nadia has her feet firmly planted in the world of fashion. With her blog The Chronicles of Nadia and her legions of Instagram followers, she certainly was on our radar as one to watch on the carpet. So when we saw that she (and her burgeoning bump) was dressed in the most divine custom made Paolo Sebastian dress, jaws hit the floor.
Fact: Nadia slipped into Adelaide the day before the big event to have her final fitting with Paul as her bump kept changing in the lead up to the red carpet reveal.

Mardi Harwood
The fiancee of Patrick Dangerfield, Mardi Harwood, looked like an angelic, sparkly super hero in her beautiful Jaimie Sortino gown. All we have to say is, that cape! The soft golden hue of the dress offset Mardi’s deep tan and the choice of simple hair and make up made the dress an absolute stand out.

Renee Barendregt
Slip into a little black lacy number and you can’t go wrong. Especially when fashion creative genius Jaimie is the man behind that number. Renee, the partner of Port Adelaide Captain, Travis Boak, look sleek and sexy in her gown. We love the delicate lace overlay.

Anna Scullie
Forget about Eddie winning Goal of the Year, just look at his stunning wife in that Jaimie gown. Now this, this one is all about that colour. The blue with her blonde hair and the gold accessories… She really did look like a blonde bombshell.

Lauren Jones
Stunning in silver. Lauren, the girlfriend of Port Adelaide player Hamish Hartlett, brought a little bit of sparkle to the red carpet in this Jaimie Sortino dazzler. With those shimmery, silver tones, this dress stood out on the red carpet. We think she looked beautiful!

Bec Ashton, the girlfriend of Port Adelaide’s Brad Ebert, looked all kinds of wow in her custom made Stephanie Chehade gown. The beautiful lace detailing on top with the stunning white, pleated skirt… It just all worked for that chic red carpet look. The duo behind Adelaide design house Eliza French had Pippa Wanganeen looking like an absolute goddess in their beautifully crafted gown. With the slight showing of a little baby bump, the dress fit perfectly and Pippa was just glowing, don’t you think?

One of the favourites amongst the Crows fans has to be Big Sauce. But, no one was looking at Sam Jacobs with his stunning girlfriend next to him. That dress!! Izzy Daniel looked beautiful in the elegant, sheer gown which was created by Liz from Caleche. The Glam team can’t go past the colour – it was a standout on the red carpet!
There is nothing like a pop of colour on the red carpet.
A shout out must be made to Adelaide based jewellery designer, Cassandra, who bejewelled the hands of Mardi Harwood with her gorgeous designs. Break us off a piece of that bling! So amazing.
