Adelaide Designs Dazzle On The Logie’s Red Carpet

On Sunday the 15 April the Australian television industry was brought together with the annual TV Week Logie Awards. People around the country tuned into the program to see which of their favourite celebrities walked away with a Logie.

Before the awards ceremony commenced, viewers watched the Logies red carpet arrivals and this year’s spotlight was on young Adelaide designers Paolo Sebastian by Paul Vasileff and couture + love + madness by Cristina Tridente.

Paul Vasileff first stepped onto the fashion scene in 2007 and is known for his timeless and elegant designs featuring silks, French lace and embellishments. Paul Vasileff was responsible for the blue chiffon, made to measure gown worn by Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou which featured a deep v-neck and pleating.

Paolo Sebastian was also worn by Channel Seven’s Kylie Gillies, named one of the nights best dressed, who chose an embellished, black, one sleeved dress and Channel Nine’s stars Gigi Edgley and Sophie Hensser who both chose to wear white.

Cristina Tridente’s Label, couture + love + madness, was responsible for the beautifully designed dress worn by most popular new female talent nominee Gemma Pranita, known as Jade Mitchell on the Channel Ten series Neighbours. The couture + love + madness dress featured a shining, fitted, one shoulder design with detailing on the shoulder and hem.

Cristina’s label was launched in 2009 and is recognised for her handmade, unique designs that are created to fit the specific individual.
