The powderRoom is a new and unique late night lounge featured at the Adelaide Festival Centre. Exclusive powdered sweet treats and interesting cocktails such as the “Green Fairy” will all be revealed on the opening night on Friday 15 April 2011.
The opening night will feature funky lounge beats from seasoned Adelaide DJ, Huggy Bear and a special guest appearance by powder puff enthusiast, Marilyn Monroe.
The powderRoom is set to provide a late night hub for theatergoers as well as showcasing the stunning river precinct to a broader group of revellers.
Food Business owners, celebrated chef, John Gabel and front-of-house identity Cindy Halasz are excited for people to experience the uniqueness of the powderRoom.
“We’re keen to nurture the incredible experience of audience members hobnobbing with the actors and crew in a show they’ve just seen,” Cindy said.
Cindy reiterates how magical the view and setting of the powederRoom is. “The view is so stunning, we want to share it with Adelaide” says Cindy.
The bars amazing snacks will be available until late to cater for the powderRoom crowd, offering premium quality handmade food from the bar menu.
“We’ve gone a little powder crazy on the dessert petits; four plates with salted caramel powder served on a spoon that melts in your mouth, along with a freeze dried raspberry powder with white chocolate” John said.
