Adelaide Fringe Show That Makes Goodie Two Shoes Cool Again

Don’t miss this quirky cabaret comedy of a well-mannered man whose job accidentally leads him to become a gangland criminal.

Good manners are so not overrated and do in fact go a long way, no matter what you’ve heard. And in our fast-paced world full of people with short tempers and attitudes, we think it is essential to sometimes step right back to basics and embrace the ‘thank yous’ and ‘you’re welcomes’ as much as we can. So let us introduce you to the 2018 Fringe performance that will help you do just that.

James McLean: Goodie Two Shoes is a cabaret comedy that tells the quirky story of a well-mannered man whose job accidentally leads him to become a gangland criminal. Essentially, he must deliberately offend nasty men to survive… but why rock the boat?

This performance is set to be a hilarious polite story-telling farce full of annoying colleagues, bad bosses and Ratpack songs if you ask nicely (although we hear there won’t be a piano in this show).

After missing last Adelaide Fringe Festival, James McLean is excited to be bringing an entirely new show back this year in the form of Goodie Two Shoes. Studying acting at Flinders Drama Centre and graduating in 2011, McLean has previously written and performed two solo cabaret/comedy shows: A Kick in the Head and Other Seduction Techniques in 2012-2013, and Big Enough and Ugly Enough in 2015-2016.

The preview night is Feb 17th at 6.15pm and will be showing at Noel Lothian Hall at Adelaide Botanic Garden. Get your tickets here.
