Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan has officially delayed the border reopening date amid Omicron fears. This leaves the state cut off from the rest of the nation, and has thrown Perth’s Fringe World festival and its artists into disarray.
Many of the Adelaide Fringe acts that will be performing in SA, had also planned WA seasons – which have now, at the last minute, had to be cancelled as they can’t travel into WA. It’s a hard time for artists – and now even more so. So here’s a guide of artists who have been hit the hardest, with their WA seasons cancelled – who you have the chance to support during their SA season.
