Adelaide Fringe’s The Artist Bar open to the Public for the first time ever

Adelaide Fringe Artist Bar open to the Public for the first time ever. It’s the one “Fringe benefit” you don’t want to miss this festival season.

This is one Fringe benefit you don’t want to miss this festival season!

An entry to Artist Bar is the after-party pass everyone in Adelaide is looking to get their hands on each year. It’s hotter than one of Wonka’s Golden tickets and it’s exclusive to only artist performers. This year however, The Artist Bar is open to all!

Avid Fringe goers can finally get their chance to party in Adelaide Fringe’s Golden Ticket destination. While in the past, Artist Bar has taken home in Roxies and secluded private locations in the city, this year it’s taking home above Mary’s Poppin Bar down Synagogue Place.

Artist Bar director Stephen Craddock describes it as the place anything can happen “and oh boy, it often does!” he exclaims.

The Artist Bar has always been the unofficial “after-show” destination where performers, artists and their entourage go to mingle and party on, and it’s pretty excited that now access to the public means we all can too.

With value priced drinks, live performances, DJ sets, pop-up shows and even a bite to eat, The Artist Bar is the Adelaide arts communities’ home away from home throughout the festival.

It’s free entry for Fringe Artists, Garden of Unearthly Delights staff and Gluttony staff – and perhaps the odd lucky guest. Stephen says you might even be able to score a free pass, depending on how much love you show your favourite performer – so be generous!

See how your friends’ shows went, find out what to see tomorrow, and start a night of surprise, intrigue, and sheer delight at The Artist Bar. Sorry, but not sorry Fringe – Glam Adelaide’s just unveiled the best kept secret of Australia’s largest Fringe Festival.

The Artist Bar will be open Wednesday to Sunday, 10pm till late from February 18 to March 20.

Artist Bar will be located at the Mary’s Poppin Bar complex. Look for “Artist” neon sign in Synagogue Place off Rundle Street.

Fringe Pass holders can bring a +1 for free. Find out more here.
