If you’re still looking for something to do this weekend, or you haven’t had your gin fix yet after World Gin Day last Saturday, we’ve found just the thing. This weekend, the Adelaide Gin Festival is taking over the Adelaide Convention Centre, bringing together a heap of your favourite local gin and spirit producers.
From June 20th to 22nd, more than 50 top-tier Aussie gin distillers are offering guests a chance to sip their way through a three-hour tasting session. You’ll have the chance to try some pretty epic gins, new flavours, and see the best-of-the-best, and even treat yourself to a classic G&T or two.
Your festival ticket includes all gin tastings, complimentary Long Rays mixers, a branded tasting glass to take home, and a tote bag for your gin haul. There’ll be food available for purchase, and plenty of time to chat with the passionate people behind your favourite brands, like the teams at Prohibition Liquor Co., 23rd Street Distillery, Ambra Spirits, and Threefold Distilling.
“As a proudly South Australian distillery, we see the Adelaide Gin Festival as the perfect stage to celebrate local flavours, creativity, and connect with the passionate SA gin community face-to-face,” shared Eloise Penny, the Brand Manager for 23rd Street Distillery.
“Festivalgoers can expect a full tasting experience of our award-winning gin range, including our vibrant new Raspberry & Finger Lime Gin that is sure to excite.”
Prohibition Liquor Co. will also be in attendance.

“This Festival is one of our favourites all over Australia, so it’s great to be back and presenting again, in our hometown! For us, it’s all about connecting with gin lovers, sharing our passion, and showcasing the craft behind what we do.”
This isn’t the first time this festival has come to Adelaide either.
“We’ve been part of the Adelaide Gin Festival since it first landed in SA back in 2020, and it’s become a highlight on our calendar,” shared Daisy from the Threefold Distilling team.
“We’ve been working on something big behind the scenes, and let’s just say, it’s bold and exciting. Festivalgoers will be among the first to see what we’ve been creating. With a wide range of spirits in our portfolio, we’ll be showcasing two standout products from each category to give everyone a taste of what Threefold is all about. There’ll be a new release at the festival, and maybe even a cheeky saving or two on bottles, so be sure to stop by our stand!”
The event will be a time to try some of the delicious and surprise gins in store, but for those who like their gin with a side of knowledge, the gin masterclasses are well worth checking out. These intimate sessions dive deep into the craft, flavours, and stories behind the spirits. While Square 1’s guided tasting is already sold out, a handful of spots remain for the Seppeltsfield Rd “Home Grown Hero” Masterclass on Sunday.
Hosted by the Australian Gin Distillers Association, the Adelaide Gin Festival is designed to shine a spotlight on local talent and support the boutique brands putting Australian gin on the global map.
