Adelaide Hills Plays Host To The Ten Tenors

Come and enjoy an afternoon of live music amongst the vines as Tomich Wine and Phoenix Touring presents the Ten Tenors live at Tomich Wine Vineyard.

Combining classical music with ‘80s, ‘90s and today rock ballads, the Ten Tenors will be performing a new range of songs at the Tomich Wine Vineyard at Woodside on Saturday, 28 January 2012.

‘THE TEN’ now bring audiences their latest offering; DOUBLE PLATINUM, the tenth studio album for the group.

The DOUBLE PLATINUM world tour and anniversary is set to kick things up another gear; showcasing the talent of the group in a way no other artist can match.

Phoenix Touring Promoter, Don Moir says “we are giving Adelaide a performance that will have audiences dancing on their feet to a show bigger, bolder and better than ever before.”

“Audiences can expect a few surprises too….” Don says.

This live show will leave audiences breathless at the vocal magic of THE TEN, from the tender ache of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, to the unbridled power of Aerosmith’s number one hit stadium rock ballad, ‘Don’t want to miss a thing’, the world’s best loves classical piece Nassun Dorma.

“We also have two fantastic support acts, Lincoln Sharpe an up and coming young singer/ songwriter coming out of South Australia, as well as Adelaide favourite Andy Seymour and the Studio City Orchestra” Don says.

As a proud Adelaide Hills winery Tomich Wines are thrilled to bring THE TEN to the Adelaide Hills and want to showcase the best the Adelaide Hills has to offer with iconic restaurant ‘The Locavore’ including a selection of products from the local region to include in gourmet picnic hampers (hampers serve two at a cost of $56.10).

Randal Tomich from Tomich Wines says “as well as the gourmet picnic hampers we will have food stalls operated by local produces and I can proudly announce we have just released our limited VIP package to deliver a more exclusive concert experience to our more discerning guests and WOW, what a treat we have in store for you”

“Our VIP package will treat our VIP guests to an afternoon of sumptuous food matched with Tomich Wine and of course premium undercover seating – really, this is a whole concert experience – for a cost of $285”

“Bring a rug and enjoy the food, wine and all the acts from 3:30PM at our beautiful vineyard” Randal says.

The organisers have also gone one step further this year arranging for Lofty Coaches to supply a bus service from the following locations for transportation to and from the Tomich vineyard.

1. LIGHT SQUARE: directly opposite Colonal Light Statue

2. KING WILLIAM STREET: opposite the Rotunda in Elder Park

3. VICTORIA SQUARE: 50 metres South of the Hilton Hotel, in front of the Samuel Way Building

4. HINDMARSH SQUARE: on the Eastern side of Hindmarsh Square

5. MT BARKER: Keith Stevenson Park opposite Mt Barker High School

6. STIRLING: Bus stop 36 Stirling

Buses will be leaving from 3pm on a continual rotation throughout the day.
