As the Adelaide International 2024 gets ready to serve up some thrilling tennis action, it’s starting with a bang, dedicating day one to the young stars of the future.

On the picturesque grounds of Pinky Flat, Monday, January 8, 2024, will be transformed into a playground of enjoyment for kids and families alike.

With ticket prices starting at just $10 and complimentary admission for kids, it’s a cost-effective way for families to relish a day packed with entertainment.

This year’s Kids’ Day boasts an expanded event area, brimming with activities suitable for children of all ages. Picture giant lawn games set beneath the cool shade of towering trees, inflatable tennis games, face painting, mesmerizing balloon artistry, an all-new coloring station, and a chance for budding tennis enthusiasts to pick up a racquet and give Hot Shots Tennis a whirl.

In an epic addition, an inflatable water slide has been introduced to help youngsters beat the sweltering summer heat. With tickets for day one selling at a brisk pace, families are encouraged to secure their spot and join in on the excitement.

Tennis SA CEO and Adelaide International General Manager Debbie Sterrey says Kids’ Day is about encouraging families to spend the day together, providing them everything they need to have a good time.

“The Adelaide International Kids’ Day is providing families with lots of free activities for the kids to keep them entertained and give the adults perhaps the opportunity to experience world class tennis for the first time.

The day has been designed to attract and entertain families seeking a fun day out together over the summer break,” said Debbie Sterrey Tennis SA CEO and Adelaide International General Manager.

While the little ones enjoy a multitude of activities, parents and guardians can unwind on the idyllic lawns of Pinky Flat. Food trucks offering delectable treats and cool beverages will be at hand to ensure that everyone’s taste buds are satisfied.

Many children are expected to eagerly embrace the chance to pick up a tennis racquet and partake in their first tennis encounter, all within a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
