Hey Adelaide, stop whinging about the weather. According to Traveller, our fair city has landed on yet another list, this time for the world’s greatest climates: Top cities to visit for perfect weather all year round!
I know we have golf ball sized hail, and Spring seems to have gone missing this year, but let’s face it, we know we’re on a good wicket. Hailed as a city in the ‘Goldilocks’ zone, we are credited with low rainfall and low humidity, which means Winters are absolutely bearable, and Summers are made for the beach.
Other cities also cited on the list include Swakopmund, Namibia; Yuma, Arizona; and San Diego, California. Sounds like there’s only one place you can also catch The Adelaide Fringe (now the largest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere), the Tour Down Under, WOMAdelaide, The Adelaide Cabaret Festival and also get some of the world’s best cheese (made from green ants!). Definitely lots of great reasons (including the weather) to visit SA all year round!
