Adelaide musicians hosting an epic fundraising performance for Australian flood victims

Support local artists and flood victims at the Wheatsheaf Hotel this April. Sit down, relax and enjoy a beer as you take in the musical talents of the star-studded local lineup.

Amber Mic is set to host a series of events to raise funds for those who have been directly affected by the recent floods across New South Wales and Queensland.

On Thursday, April 21, some of the best musicians SA has to offer will be heading down to the Wheatsheaf Hotel to entertain crowds all night long with their craft as part of the ‘Flood Relief‘ series of shows.

Singer-songwriters taking the stage on the night include Mel Pier, Stu Day, Eliza Dickson, and Lucas Day.

Stu Day has over thirty years of experience in the industry with an array of talents.

He is an avid producer, songwriter, and even a multi-instrumentalist. With extensive experience in composing for film, live performances, television, and broadcast, he’s worked on projects like Spank You Very Much, Those Kodiaks, and countless others.

Another artist taking the stage is Mel Pier. The singer-songwriter centres his repertoire around electro-folk exploring the genre through his multi-instrumental talents.

Eliza Dickson is another highlight of the event, the jazz vocalist has built up quite the collection of awards in the field. With the recent release of her first EP titled GOLD, Eliza is set to give a performance that captures the whole crowd’s attention.

We can’t forget the talented Lucas Day who will also be entertaining at the event.

Lucas is one of the leading foot drum players globally his rhythmic energy will leave guests in awe.

After spending five years performing on cruise ships across the Caribbean and North America, Lucas was able to craft his skills to the highest level.

Doors will be open from 6:30 pm with presale tickets priced at $10 plus the booking fee, or you can purchase tickets on the day for $15 upon arrival.

All proceeds will be donated to NSW and QLD Flood Community Fundraising Groups.
