Adelaide’s newest Fringe venue, LIVE on 5 opens TONIGHT from 5pm! This is Adelaide Oval like you’ve never seen it before.
Take your seat for an exclusive preview of the LIVE on 5 shows. A selection of acts will light up the LIVE on 5 main stage from 7:30pm for a FREE gala performance. In a world first, this ‘floating’ stage has been built high into the Level 5 seating bowl with Adelaide Oval as the backdrop.
Make your way up to the LIVE on 5 Terrace Bar to soak up jaw-dropping views of the city, fabulous food and drinks, free entry and a must-see line up of free entertainment.
With free entry, Fringe fans can soak up the stunning views of the city and the hills while enjoying great Fringe entertainment along with great food and wine. The free stage on the LIVE on 5 terrace will feature over 31 fringe acts. Also – in a world first – a special stage will be built high into the level 5 seating bowl providing an opportunity for acts to stage ticketed performances with the beautiful Adelaide Oval as a backdrop.
Fringe shows are also scheduled in venues scattered throughout the Oval, offering an incredible range of experiences for Fringe-goers.
There will be a number of headline acts performing at Adelaide Oval, with Hugh Sheridan in the California Crooners Club, kicking off the Fringe festivities in the William Magarey Room from 24 – 25 February. Shows include Peter Combe with the Clicketty Cane Band, Beccy Cole with Libby O’Donovan, The Motherf**ker with the Hat, and Zeppelin Was A Cover Band.
