Adelaide Oval’s capacity for the Port preliminary finals announced

Adelaide Oval’s Stadium Management Authority has announced the capacity for the Port preliminary finals.

Adelaide Oval’s Stadium Management Authority has announced that the number of patrons allowed to enter the oval for the Port preliminary finals will not be changed.

The Department of Health’s advice is to retain Adelaide Oval’s capacity at 50%.

Adelaide Oval will however, be able to utilise the Northern Mound, with 20 person pods at 40 square metres. Each pod will be separated by a two metre walkway to ensure appropriate social distancing is occurring.

The Oval has not used this area since last summer’s cricket season.

Stadium Management is hoping that capacity for future events such as the upcoming State of Origin match and summer cricket will be increased.

Tickets for the Northern Mound pods will go on sale for Port Adelaide members at 9am on Monday morning, and 2pm on Monday afternoon for the public.

More to come.
