Adelaide Ranked In Top Five Friendliest Cities And Towns In Australia

In a major online survey, website Big 7 Travel asked, “where you would find the friendliest cities and towns in Australia?”

Australia is stereotyped as a nation of “friendly” people but have you ever wondered which cities and towns are the friendliest?

Evidently, Big 7 Travel has.

The website recently revealed the results of an extensive survey conducted via its social audience of 1.5 million people. Big 7 Travel asked, “where you would find the friendliest cities and towns in Australia?”

The people have since spoken, and top of the list of 25 is Western Australia capital Perth, followed by Coffs Harbour and Brisbane.

Adelaide has been ranked a very respectable fourth, with Big 7 Travel commenting on the city’s “excellent walkability” and the potential of “bond[ing] with welcoming locals over a drink or two.”

Cairns came in at fifth place.

Every Australian capital city, besides Sydney (ranked sixteenth), made it into the top ten.
