It’s Monday the fourth of January (for those of you playing at home) and that means two things… One, a fair whack of us are back at work (including the Glam team) while the rest of you enjoy the Summer holidays. And number two, it’s time for SA to start gearing up for the Tour Down Under as the first international teams begin arriving in Adelaide today.
The 2016 Santos Tour Down Under is set to be the biggest and best yet, and the eyes of the world will be watching Adelaide as the teams start to roll in ahead of start the epic event program.
Preparations for the event are well underway with the Adelaide City Council Tour Village construction on track ready to greet the teams.
So basically we can expect to see a whole lot of lycra as the teams (and other cycling enthusiasts) take to the streets.
Teams will continue to arrive on Singapore Airlines flights all the way up to Tuesday 12 January.
Keep your eye on Glam as we bring you the latest information about the Tour as it draws closer. All the action kicks off from January 16 and goes until 24 January. Bring it on!
