Get ready to welcome summer and feel the heat as the FIVB World Beach Volleyball Championships hit The Drive from November 14 to 23, 2025. In the biggest international beach volleyball event ever held in Asia and Oceania, Adelaide will become the epicentre of world-class sporting action, right in the city.
Tickets drop at 8:30am ACDT (9:00am AEDT) today, with prices starting from just $25 for adults and $12.50 for kids. This will be the first release of tickets, so get in early to get your hands on a range of premium hospitality and ticketing bonuses.
The event kicks off with a Media Call at Pinky Flat at 9am featuring Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison, BVWC CEO Jenny Mann, and event ambassador and Olympian Zachery Schubert. Also hitting the stage are his teammate Tom Hodges, plus Olympic legends Louise Bawden and Chris McHugh.
The championship will bring together the world’s top 192 men’s and women’s players with Paris Olympic medallists expected to take centre stage alongside our homegrown Aussie stars. Across five courts and over 10 days, the event will feature nonstop competition. There will be sessions across the morning, afternoon and night, so ticket holders can prepare for a full day of festival fun right in the heart of the CBD.
For those wanting to be front and centre, there will be ‘Vip Sand Seats,’ so you can sink your feet into the sand and catch all the action, courtside. Or, lock in a Finals Pass and witness every spike, block, and ace in the ultimate showdown.
The BVWC is set to draw a whopping 250 million global viewers, with an estimated 75,000 of those in Adelaide, including 10,000 interstate and overseas visitors. Not only will it be an action-packed, edge-of-your-seat event, but it’s estimated to inject between $17 and $23 million into the South Australian economy.
In a commitment to equality and gender parity, prize money will be split evenly and there will be 50/50 viewership and equity for both men’s and women’s matches, sharing the same stages and facilities.
