Adelaide weather forecast for Friday April 11th and the days ahead

Here’s what you can expect for SA’s Gather Round weekend and the days ahead.

As we settle into the Gather Round weekend, the weather couldn’t get much better. South Australians are set to enjoy a period of sunny and warm weather over the coming days, according to the Bureau of Meteorology. The stable weather pattern is due to a high-pressure system moving swiftly into the Tasman Sea, leaving a ridge of high pressure persisting across the state.

Friday in Adelaide is expected to be sunny with a peak temperature of 29°C. The gentle east to southeasterly winds from 15 to 20 km/h will shift to the south to southeast during the early afternoon before reverting in the evening. As the weekend progresses, temperatures will rise. Saturday will see a minimum of 17°C and a maximum of 33°C. Similar conditions will follow on Sunday, with the temperature expected to start at a balmy 21°C before reaching 33°C again.

The working week begins with equally lovely weather. Monday will maintain the warmth with temperatures again hovering around 33°C, after a mild start at 20°C. However, a slight change is anticipated by Tuesday, with partly cloudy skies and a maximum temperature slightly reduced to 32°C.

The weather across South Australia remains predominantly dry. Isolated light showers are expected about the southern coasts only. The rest of the state will experience dry conditions with maximum temperatures ranging from near average on the coastal fringe to above average elsewhere.
