The weather in Adelaide will remain unsettled as we move into the weekend, with scattered showers, a chance of thunderstorms, and gusty winds expected across the region.
Today will bring mostly cloudy conditions to Adelaide, with a slight chance of a shower, particularly in the late morning and afternoon. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach around 25°C, with light southeasterly winds developing in the evening, blowing at 15 to 20 km/h.
Showers are also likely west of Spencer Gulf and along the eastern border, with isolated showers possible in other areas, apart from the north and southeast. Winds will be north to northwesterly, freshening ahead of a southwest to southerly change that will extend across the state by the evening.
Saturday will bring partly cloudy skies, with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 14°C to a maximum of 23°C in Adelaide. There is a slight chance of a shower, particularly in the late morning and afternoon. Winds will be southeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h, turning southerly at 15 to 25 km/h throughout the day.
Showers will also continue along the eastern border, southern coasts, and in the west, easing and shifting to the southern coasts by the end of the day.
On Sunday, the city will remain cloudy, with a slight chance of showers. Morning temperatures will start at 12°C and rise to 21°C in the afternoon. Winds will become southerly at 15 to 25 km/h during the morning, before easing later in the evening. Showers are expected to develop in the southern agricultural area, particularly along windward coasts and ranges, with temperatures below to well below average.
Wind Warning for Friday, April 25th
A Strong Wind Warning has been issued for the Far West Coast. Winds are expected to be fresh and gusty, particularly in areas west of Ceduna, as a southwest to southerly change moves through during the day. It is advised to take precautions and avoid any coastal activities in this region where conditions may become hazardous.
