Adelaide is set to see partly cloudy conditions for the rest of Friday and into the weekend.
For the rest of Friday, Adelaide will see showers and partly cloudy conditions with a top of 25 degrees. With a medium chance of showers, most likely in the morning and early afternoon, winds will head southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h turning southerly in the evening.
As for the fire danger rating, there is no rating in the Adelaide Metropolitan area, but in the Mount Lofty Ranges, it is high.
Heading into the weekend, Saturday’s temperature will see a high of 23 degrees and a low of 15 degrees, with cloudy conditions across the day. There will only be a slight chance of rain, with winds southerly 20 to 30 km/h.
It’ll warm back up slightly on Sunday, with temperatures expected to reach a high of 25 degrees and a low of 12 degrees, with cloudy conditions across the day. Winds southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h.
Looking at next week, temperatures are set to heat back up in the high twenties and low thirties.
Today coastal readers should be aware of the strong wind warnings that are in place. These warnings are in place for the Spencer Gulf. Tomorrow there is a strong wind warning in place for the Lower South East Coast.
The heatwave warning that was issued on Thursday for the West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula and North East Pastoral Districts, has been cancelled.
Over the week the UV levels are expected to reach highs of 11, meaning sun protection is recommended from 9:20am to 5:30pm daily.
