Adelaide weather forecast for Friday February 7th and the weekend ahead

Adelaide is set to enjoy warm and sunny conditions over the next few days into the weekend.

For the rest of Friday, Adelaide will see sunny skies with a top of 30 degrees. Winds will be moderate heading south to southeasterly 25 to 35 km/h increasing to 25 to 40 km/h in the late evening, keeping conditions dry with only a 5 per cent chance of rain.

As for the fire danger rating, there is no rating in the Adelaide Metropolitan area, but in the Mount Lofty Ranges, it is high.

Heading into the weekend, Saturday’s temperature will rise to a top of 28 degrees with a low of 15 degrees. Skies will remain clear and winds southeasterly 30 to 45 km/h, which is sure to bring some relief from the warmth.

Sunday’s temperatures will see a high of 31 degrees and a low of 14 degrees, with winds southeasterly 30 to 45 km/h. The sunny skies are set to continue into next week with the weather continuing to warm up.

Today coastal readers should be aware of the strong wind warnings that are in place. These warnings are in place in the Adelaide Metropolitan Waters, Upper West Coast, Lower West Coast, South Central Coast, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait and Upper South East Coast. There are also warnings in place for Saturday, at the Far West Coast, Upper West Coast, Lower West Coast, Central Coast, South Central Coast, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait, Upper South East Coast and Lower South East Coast.

Over the week the UV levels are expected to reach highs of 11, meaning sun protection is recommended from 9:20am to 5:30pm daily.
