Adelaide residents can expect mixed weather conditions over the next few days according to the latest forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology.
Today, Adelaide will experience a maximum temperature of 19 degrees with a few showers likely to occur. The Bureau predicts a 60% chance of rainfall, varying from 0 to 3 mm. The city will remain cloudy with light winds throughout the day. This theme of showers will continue into Saturday with slightly cooler temperatures, peaking at 17 degrees. The likelihood of rain increases to 70%, and south to southwesterly winds will become noticeable, ranging from 15 to 25 km/h.
Sunday will bring a pleasant change with sunny skies and a maximum temperature of 17 degrees. The chance of rain drops significantly to just 10%, offering a respite from the wetter conditions experienced earlier in the weekend.
Moving into the new week, Monday and Tuesday will maintain sunny to mostly sunny conditions with highs of 18 degrees and 19 degrees. By Wednesday, there will be a slight chance of showers with temperatures remaining steady at 19 degrees. Thursday will see partly cloudy skies and a maximum of 19 degrees again.
The broader forecast for South Australia includes isolated showers primarily in the southern agricultural areas and West Coast. There is also a chance of morning fog in these regions. Throughout the state, temperatures will remain below average with fresh south to southeasterly winds along the coasts.
Flood warnings persist for the Inland Rivers, including Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre, along the Warburton River at Poothapoota Waterhole, and Cooper Creek at Walkers Crossing and Coongie Lakes.
