Adelaide and the broader South Australian region are set to experience varied weather patterns over the coming week, according to the latest forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology. Residents can expect a range of conditions from mostly sunny skies to potential showers, influenced by a high pressure system over the Tasman Sea and a trough of low pressure moving from west to east.
For the remainder of today, Adelaide will enjoy a mostly sunny day with a high of 34°C and a low of 19°C. Light winds will become west to southwesterly during the early afternoon before shifting east to southeasterly later in the day.
The outlook for Tuesday and Wednesday predicts partly cloudy days with both maximum and minimum temperatures mirroring each other at 32°C and 21°C respectively. Winds will shift from east to northeasterly, and then to north to northwesterly across both days, becoming lighter by the late afternoon.
As we move into Thursday, the weather will remain partly cloudy, although the minimum temperature will drop slightly to 19°C with a maximum of 31°C. The weather for Friday similarly shows partly cloudy conditions with a maximum of 29°C, following the same minimum of 19°C as Thursday.
The weekend will bring some changes, with Saturday and Sunday expected to have a few showers. The temperature will experience a significant drop, with Saturday’s maximum forecast at 23°C and Sunday cooling further to just 20°C. Minimum temperatures will also decrease, reaching 16°C on Saturday and 12°C on Sunday.
