Adelaide weather forecast for Monday February 2nd and the days ahead

Adelaide’s 7-day forecast brings a run of sunny days and rising heat, with temperatures reaching 33°C and extreme UV levels expected.

Adelaide is heading into a sustained run of summer heat, with temperatures climbing into the low 30s from Tuesday and staying there right through the weekend. After a sunny and breezy Monday topping out at 29°C, conditions warm noticeably, with several consecutive days forecast to reach 32–33°C under clear skies. Overnight minimums remain mild, mostly sitting between 14°C and 16°C, offering little relief as the week progresses.

Tuesday and Wednesday both peak around 32°C, with dry, sunny conditions and light morning easterlies shifting southerly during the afternoon. Thursday brings slightly more cloud at times, but temperatures remain high at around 31°C. By Friday and Saturday, Adelaide is firmly back in full summer mode, with clear skies and daytime temperatures again reaching 31–32°C. Sunday is currently shaping up as the hottest day of the stretch, with a forecast top of 33°C and mostly sunny conditions.

Across the state, the picture is a little more varied. While southern and coastal districts remain mostly dry with temperatures hovering above average, a trough moving in from southwest Queensland will bring unsettled conditions to the northeast. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected across parts of the North East Pastoral district from Tuesday through Thursday, with the chance of locally heavier falls in storm activity. Raised dust is also possible in the northeast on Monday. Coastal areas may see brief light showers at times, particularly along southern coasts and ranges, but rainfall totals are expected to stay low overall.

Fire weather remains something to watch, particularly in the Mount Lofty Ranges where conditions are rated High for Monday. Combined with persistent winds and rising temperatures later in the week, it’s a timely reminder to stay alert and prepared. Marine conditions remain under watch as well, with wind warnings current for parts of the state’s coastal waters.
