Stay informed on Adelaide’s chilly week with the latest Bureau of Meteorology report!

Adelaide residents should prepare for a cool and damp week ahead, according to the latest forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology. The city will experience showers and relatively low temperatures over the next few days as a complex weather system impacts SA.

Starting the week, Adelaide will see a maximum temperature of only 14 degrees on Monday, with a few showers likely. This pattern will persist into Tuesday, with temperatures dropping slightly to a maximum of 13 degrees. The Bureau of Meteorology reports that there is a high chance of showers on Tuesday, especially in the morning and afternoon, with possible rainfall amounts between 0 to 4 mm.

The weather will continue in a similar vein on Wednesday, with the mercury struggling to rise above 14 degrees. Showers are again expected, particularly during the morning and afternoon hours. South Australians can expect partly cloudy skies with the chance of morning fog adding to the wintry feel.

The outlook for Thursday is slightly better, although temperatures will remain cool, with a maximum of 14 degrees forecasted. The day should be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies offering some respite from the wet conditions seen earlier in the week.

Moving into the weekend, there is a mild improvement in weather conditions. Friday will be partly cloudy with a peak temperature of 14 degrees, offering a break from the showers. Saturday and Sunday temperatures will finally reach into the mid-15s, although the chance of rain returns on Sunday.

There are currently strong wind warnings in place for the Far West Coast of South Australia. These warnings are set to continue into Tuesday.

Showers are forecasted primarily in agricultural districts and southern pastoral regions with the passage of a cold front and associated low-pressure system. The south-western regions, particularly the coastal fringes, may receive higher rainfall totals ranging from 20 to 30 mm by the end of Thursday. From Friday, isolated light showers are possible around the southern coasts, with conditions drying out towards Saturday.
