As Adelaide heads into the first week of June 2025, residents can expect varied weather conditions ranging from showers to mostly sunny days.

As Adelaide heads into the first week of June 2025, residents can expect varied weather conditions ranging from showers to mostly sunny days, according to the Bureau of Meteorology. The start of the week sees Adelaide in a partly cloudy setting with a slight chance of evening showers today, and a maximum temperature of 19 degrees. This mild pattern will give way to more definitive conditions in the coming days.

Looking forward, Tuesday will bring a minimum temperature of 10 degrees and a high of 17 degrees, with a few showers likely, particularly in the morning. Adelaide’s skies will clear somewhat by Wednesday, which predicts mostly sunny weather and a modest peak at 16°C following a chilly morning low of 5 degrees.

Towards the latter half of the week, the variability continues. Thursday and Friday will see temperatures ranging from 5 degrees to 18 degrees, with showers redeveloping on Thursday and persisting into Friday and the weekend. Predicted maximums will slighter dip on Sunday reaching only up to 14 degrees amidst ongoing showers.

In statewide analysis, South Australia’s weather is influenced by a high pressure system over the Tasman Sea and an approaching trough and cold front, which are expected to affect the region intermittently through the week. There is isolated shower activity across various parts, especially about the coastal fringes and southern agricultural areas.

Significant travel impacts are currently forecast due to flooding in the Inland Rivers SA. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued flood warnings particularly for the Warburton River and Cooper Creek. High water levels persist at key locations such as Poothapoota Waterhole and Cullyamurra Waterhole, with floodwaters expected to affect Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre and possibly disrupt access over regional routes and river crossings.
