South Australians can expect a series of cooler days with frequent showers, according to the Bureau of Meteorology’s latest forecast. Adelaide in particular will see a stretch of days with maximum temperatures hovering around the 16°C mark, accompanied by potential light showers.
Starting with today, Adelaide residents can expect a partly cloudy day with a medium chance of showers, mainly clearing up by the late afternoon and evening. The maximum temperature is set to be 16°C, with winds shifting from southwesterly in the morning to lighter breezes by the afternoon.
The pattern of showers continues slightly stronger into Tuesday, with a 70% chance of rain mainly forecast for the morning and afternoon. Temperatures will again peak at about 16°C after a cooler start at 8°C in the morning.
Wednesday’s weather will be similar again. Adelaide will experience another partly cloudy day, featuring a 60% chance of showers. Temperatures are set to range from a minimum of 6°C to a maximum of 16°C with light winds increasing and shifting from northwesterly to northerly through the day.
The Bureau of Meteorology has also issued weather warnings, including a frost warning for the Mid North, Riverland, and Upper South East forecast districts. This warning anticipates frost with ground level temperatures down to 0°C on Monday morning. Additionally, there is an ongoing flood warning for inland rivers, influencing areas such as the Warburton River and Cooper Creek. Residents and travellers in these areas should remain vigilant, monitor conditions closely, and heed all advice from local authorities.
