Morning! Adelaide dwellers can expect varied weather conditions throughout the week, outlined by the Bureau of Meteorology in the latest update.
Starting with today, Adelaide’s weather will mostly be partly cloudy with a maximum temperature of 19 degrees. A light breeze from the northwest to southwest will become noticeable around midday.
Tuesday will see a minimum of 12 degrees and a maximum of 21 degrees. The morning may bring a possible shower, especially around the northern suburbs where there could also be early fog. The afternoon should clear up, proving to be sunny as the winds shift from a westerly to southwesterly direction.
The outlook for Wednesday is looking good, with clear sunny skies expected throughout the day. Temperatures will range from a cool minimum of 10 degrees to a warmer maximum of 28 degrees. Winds will vary, starting from the east to northeast and shifting to the north to northwest throughout the day.
Thursday’s forecast is less predictable, with a potential shower or two and the chance of a storm, as a significant front is expected to move across the region. Temperatures will be cooler than Wednesday, with a minimum of 18 degrees and a maximum of 27 degrees.
The following days will see a mix of conditions. Friday will be partly cloudy with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 12 degrees to a maximum of 20 degrees. The weekend will start off sunny on Saturday with a high of 27 degrees after a cool start at 9 degrees. Sunday brings another chance of showers with temperatures peaking at 32 degrees after a warmer start at 19 degrees.
In terms of the broader South Australian forecast, a high-pressure system over the Bight is expected to bring varied weather this week, influencing conditions from isolated light morning showers in the southern agricultural area early this week to possible thunderstorms by next Sunday.
The Bureau of Meteorology had previously issued a warning to sheep graziers for the Lower South East forecast district due to adverse weather conditions. However, this warning has now been cancelled as of Sunday night, and no further warnings will be issued for this event.
