Adelaide residents can expect a mixture of cloudy skies and occasional showers over the next few days, according to the Bureau of Meteorology’s latest forecasts. The city will experience a slight decrease in temperatures, with maximum temperatures hovering around the low twenties.
Starting with today’s weather, Adelaide will see a maximum of 23°C under partly cloudy skies. The remainder of Saturday promises similar conditions, although there is a slight chance of a light shower later in the day as winds shift from southerly 20 to 30 km/h to lighter breezes in the evening.
As Sunday arrives, the temperature will dip slightly with an expected maximum of 21°C. The day is set to be cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Winds will initially be light, becoming southerly at 15 to 20 km/h during the morning before easing again.
The pattern of cloudy weather and possible rain will persist into Monday, with similar temperatures. The likelihood of rainfall increases slightly, with up to 1 mm possible, particularly in the afternoon and evening. The incoming cold front early in the week may bring scattered showers across the south of the state.
Conditions will improve starting Wednesday, with the forecast predicting sunny skies and a maximum of 19°C. This trend of clearer skies is expected to continue, leading into warmer temperatures by Friday, which will see a pleasant 23°C under sunny conditions.
Across South Australia, isolated showers and cooler air will affect most southern parts over the weekend. These conditions are due to a weakening low pressure system near the NSW border and a high pressure system building over waters south of the Bight.
