Adelaide residents can anticipate a mixed bag of weather conditions in the coming days. According to the Bureau of Meteorology’s latest update, the forecast begins with a pleasant sunny Saturday with a maximum of 19 degrees. From Sunday onwards, there will be notable changes.

On Sunday, the weather will be sunny in the morning with temperatures reaching up to 22 degrees. Showers are expected in the late afternoon and evening, carrying a 70% chance of rain with possible rainfall amounting to 0 to 3 mm.

The early part of the week will see a further decline in weather conditions. Monday is set to experience an increase in showers with an 11 degrees minimum and an 18 degrees maximum. Rainfall could be between 5 to 20 mm, and there’s an overwhelming 95% probability of precipitation.

This wet trend continues into Tuesday with a lower temperature range between 8 degrees and 15 degrees and showers are forecasted throughout the day. From Wednesday, the rain will begin to ease off, but sporadic showers can still be expected. As we head towards the latter part of the week, temperatures will stabilise slightly with Thursday seeing a possible shower and Friday marked by partly cloudy skies, both days fluctuating around similar temperatures from 16 degrees maximum to 6 degrees minimum on Friday.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a frost warning for the Riverland forecast district. Expectations are set for temperatures to drop to as low as -2 degrees on Saturday morning, which could significantly affect ground temperatures. Residents in affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions against the cold.

Marine activity around South Australia also needs to heed the updated marine wind warnings. A strong wind warning is in place for Saturday for the Far West Coast and Upper West Coast. This warning escalates to a gale warning on Sunday for several coastal areas including the Far West Coast, Lower West Coast, Central Coast, and South Central Coast, accompanied by strong wind warnings for multiple regions.

There is a flood warning for the inland rivers of South Australia. The Warburton River at Poothapootha Waterhole and Cooper Creek at Cullyamurra Waterhole are being particularly monitored as the water levels continue to remain elevated. There are concerns of potential cuts to roads and accesses due to floodwaters.
