According to the Bureau of Meteorology, a high-pressure system positioning over Victoria is set to ensure a continuation of sunny days and chilly mornings for the region.

Starting today, Adelaide will experience a maximum temperature of 23 degrees with clear, sunny skies. Light winds will complement the pleasant conditions, providing a mild respite from any previous humidity or rain.

The mild trend will continue into Sunday, with the morning temperature slightly higher at 12 degrees and the maximum also reaching 23 degrees under mostly sunny skies. This pattern of stable weather with light winds and no significant chance of rain is predicted to persist throughout the early part of next week.

By Monday and Tuesday, the minimum temperatures will drop to 9 degrees and 10 degrees respectively, with the maximum temperatures holding steady at 23 degrees. Both days are expected to be sunny, ideal for outdoor activities.

A minor change is anticipated by mid-week and Wednesday introduces partly cloudy conditions with the temperature ranging between 10 degrees and 21 degrees. By Thursday and Friday, the cloud cover will increase, and the temperatures will slightly decrease with maximums of 21 degrees and 20 degrees respectively.

Elevated river and creek levels, resulting from previous rainfall, are currently receding but continue to impact access and travel in SA’s inland rivers.

For a broader outlook, the high-pressure systems are ensuring dry conditions with warmer than average temperatures across most of South Australia, providing a pleasant transition into the cooler season.
