A mix of sunny days and stormy conditions will be seen across South Australia as per the latest forecasts from the Bureau of Meteorology. Over the next few days, temperatures are set to vary significantly, and there are weather warnings relevant to certain areas.
Today will see a maximum of 27 degrees under sunny skies. Conditions in Adelaide will begin to shift on Sunday, with the forecast pointing to a cloudy day, a low of 20 degrees and a high of 30 degrees, and a possibility of showers later in the day. By Monday, the temperature will dip slightly to a maximum of 25 degrees with a couple of showers expected.
The weather takes a more unsettled turn on Tuesday with a high of 29 degrees accompanied by showers and a potential storm developing throughout the day. This weather is expected to persist into Wednesday, with a possibility of an early storm and continued showers, dragging temperatures down to a high of just 19 degrees. As we progress through the week, conditions will stabilise somewhat, with a partly cloudy Thursday and a possible shower on Friday, with temperatures slowly climbing back to 23 degrees.
The South Australian forecast indicates showers and possible thunderstorms, particularly affecting the south and parts of the west on Sunday. This unsettled pattern is due to a trough and low pressure system moving across the state. By Tuesday, these systems will generate showers and isolated storms across most regions, with varying intensity and temperatures across the state.
Currently, there are weather warnings issued by the Bureau of Meteorology. A marine wind warning is in effect for the Lower South East Coast for Sunday. A severe heatwave warning has been issued for the North West Pastoral District, extending to until Monday.
