The Bureau of Meteorology has released the latest weather forecasts for Adelaide and the broader South Australian region. As locals experience a mix of conditions over the next week, here’s the rundown.
Starting with today’s weather, Adelaide residents can expect a mild winter’s day with a maximum of 19 degrees. There’s just a slight chance of a shower this morning (20% chance of rain, up to 1 mm possible), before a mostly sunny afternoon. Winds will be northeasterly at 15 to 25 km/h before becoming light in the late afternoon, then turning northeasterly again in the evening.
Moving into Monday, temperatures will range from 12 to 21 degrees. The day will start mostly sunny, but there’s a medium chance of showers in the afternoon and evening (60% chance, up to 3 mm possible). Winds will be northeasterly at 15 to 20 km/h, tending northerly at 15 to 25 km/h in the morning before becoming light in the early afternoon.
For Tuesday, Adelaide will see a maximum of 17 degrees after an overnight low of 11. A medium chance of showers is expected in the morning (50% chance, up to 1 mm possible) before skies clear for a mostly sunny afternoon. Light winds will shift southwesterly at 15 to 20 km/h during the day, then ease again in the afternoon.
Across the state, Sunday will bring isolated showers mainly on and east of the ranges, clearing by late afternoon. A cold front will cross SA on Monday, bringing showers to the west in the morning, central areas by the afternoon, and the eastern border later in the day. Showers will contract to the southeast by Tuesday morning before drier weather moves in midweek.
No weather warnings are currently in place for South Australia.
As we look ahead, midweek is expected to bring mostly sunny conditions before showers return later in the week.
