Adelaide weather forecast for Sunday June 8th and the days ahead

Stay prepared with the latest on Adelaide’s weather forecast for June 8th and the upcoming week, featuring daily updates on showers, temperature trends.

Residents of South Australia should prepare for a week of rainy and cold weather as the Bureau of Meteorology reports ongoing showers and below-average temperatures across the state. Today, Adelaide can expect a maximum of 13°C with showers, which may include small hail during the morning. Winds from the southwest are anticipated to decrease later in the day.

Over the coming three days, the pattern of cold and wet weather will persist, with daily maximums peaking at 16°C in Adelaide. Each day also carries a high likelihood of showers, particularly during the mornings and afternoons. For those heading outdoors, prepare for potential rainfall ranging between 0 to 3 mm each day.

This rainy forecast aligns with a broader weather pattern across the state involving a southwest to southerly airstream following a cold front. Throughout the week, these conditions will extend from maritime coastal areas inland, with different regions experiencing varying effects. From Wednesday onwards, showers are expected to extend to include most agricultural areas by the afternoon.

Flood warnings remain active, notably along inland rivers including the Warburton and Cooper Creeks where river levels are elevated but stable. These conditions pose a risk by potentially isolating areas due to flooded roads and river crossings.
