As winter weather settles over South Australia, residents can expect chilly mornings followed by mostly sunny days for much of the coming week, according to the latest forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology.
For today, Adelaide’s weather remains mild with a high of 16°C under mostly sunny skies. The slight cool breeze turning southeasterly this morning will drop off by the evening, ensuring a calm end to the day.
Looking ahead to Monday, a minimum of 3°C could see some areas of frost, particularly around the northern suburbs. The daytime will experience clear skies and a maximum of 17°C. Winds are expected to shift from light to easterly by midday.
Tuesday sees temperatures rising slightly with a daytime high of 19°C. While the morning will start sunny, there is a slight chance of showers by the afternoon or evening.
The weather on Wednesday could bring a change with the possibility of showers and a steady top temperature of 19°C. By Thursday, the clouds will begin to clear, setting the stage for another max of 19°C.
At the tail end of the week, Friday promises clearer skies although it starts cool at 7°C. The pattern of possible showers resumes on Saturday with temperatures increasing slightly to a maximum of 20°C.
