Adelaide is set to enjoy warm and sunny conditions over the next few days.
For the rest of Thursday, Adelaide will see mostly sunny skies with a top of 34 degrees. Light winds becoming west to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day then tending southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening, keeping conditions dry with only a 5 per cent chance of rain.
As for the fire danger rating, there is no rating in the Adelaide Metropolitan area, but in the Mount Lofty Ranges, it is high.
Heading into Friday, the temperature will rise to a top of 29 degrees and a low of 17 degrees. Skies will remain mostly clear with a few clouds, and winds south to southeasterly 25 to 35 km/h will bring some relief from the warmth.
Saturday’s temperatures will remain the same with a top of 29 degrees and a low of 15 degrees. Sunny skies will be back in action and will carry through the rest of the weekend and into next week.
Coastal areas should be aware that the Wind Warnings that were in place for today, Thursday, February 6th at the Investigator Strait have been cancelled, but strong wind warnings have been issued in the
Adelaide Metropolitan Waters, Upper West Coast, Lower West Coast, Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait and Upper South East Coast for tomorrow, Friday, February 7th.
Over the week the UV levels are expected to reach highs of 11 and 12, meaning sun protection is recommended from 9:20am to 5:30pm daily.
